So we found an internet place here in Mumbai. Today is our last day in India. We have been thinking that it will be nice to get back to Finland, but today I found myself thinking it would be nice to stay one more day. The reason for that is, that this guy came and asked, if we want to be extras in a Bollywood movie. I would have wanted. And I would have, but it would be tomorrow, and we are leaving... =(. They would have payed us 500 rupies, wich is about 8 euros. Well, better luck next time.
Now I have to go, we have a cruise to attend.
CU!

Last entry
So our days in Goa has come to an end. This afternoon we are leaving for Mumbai. The trainride will take all nigth and the scheduled arrival in Mumbai is about 5.50. This time we are HOPING that the train is late, because that early in the morning nothing is open. So a couple hours late, would be perfect.
This will probably be my last entry in this blog, at least as long as I am here in India. I will maybe add some photos, if anybody is interested, otherwise I think this blog can be forgotten. Until my next trip =)
These days here in Goa has been very nice. The sun, beach, people... Everything. The negative side is, that all this walking in the sand has made my knee hurt much more than it did earlier. I know I should wear my kneesupport, but it is to hot for that. I would probably die if I used it. Or maybe not.
So friends and family. I will be in Mumbai friday and saturday, and on sunday I am flying home. So next week I will again be reachable by phone. Or to some of you I will be, if I'm not answering, I don't want to talk to you. Or I'm at the gym. BECAUSE NOW I CAN!!! The doctor promised!
Well CU later!
Over and out.

The busride from Hell
Now we have experienced a busride here in India. And it was luxoriuos after their standards. After our...? Not so much. The road was bumpy as hell, the bus was sweaty and I had a hard time beliving the busdriver knew where he was going because he stopped every once in a while and asked for directions. It was interesting, but I hope I don't have to do that again for a while.
So now we are back in Goa. We have been to Panaji, which is the capital of Goa. It was nothing new there. We are staying in north Goa at a beach called Calangua beach, or something like that =). It is nice here. But to hot. I will not get the tan I wanted due to the fact that it is simply to hot to lie in the sun.
I will have a huge cultural chock when I get back to Finland, when there is nobody staring at me or wanting to take my picture. Yesterday I went alone on the beach. Or well, I did not get to be alone for long, guys came to talk with me all the time. There was this one dude who worked there nearby, and he told me to come and sit at their sunbeds. And I did. It was better, the guys left me mostly alone there. Exept for this one guy, who came and asked me if his friend can take a picture of us together... And then there were a couple of men who took my picture without asking.
Then today me and mr.T went and took a swim in the ocean. There was this one dude who sent his son to stand beside me so he could take a picture. They tried to do it without me noticing, but I did. And then there where also about 4-5 guys who took a picture. But when mr.T is with me, they leave me alone... Actually mr.T and I came up with the great idee, that we should sell me on the beach so we could afford to stay here longer. In Mumbai last week, there was this guy who tried to buy me for 600 rupies. That is about 9,50 euros. I feel a little bit cheap...
Well, we decided to stay here until we take the train to Mumbai on thursday evening. We went to get the train tickets today. There was this waiting room, that was very hot and the air was lacking oxygen. This guy stood there and filled his form, when I heard that he dropped his pen, I looked over and saw him fell over. He blacked out. He fell head first right to the floor. The sound when his head hit the floor was nasty. I felt really bad for him...
I think that is all for now. Now it is time to get some food.

Today...
... I'm to tired to write much. We spent the day looking around the tempels in Hampi. It is (no surprise...) very hot over here. Just now we ate a late lunch and came to the conclusion that the feeling right now is okey. =)

Hampi
Today we took a 7 hour trainride to Hospet, and from there we came to Hampi. This is a popular place in India, hence we are here. The popularity can easily be seen due to the load of tourists here in Hampi. I have not yet seen so many "white" people here in India as I have today here in Hampi.
The plan is that tomorrow and saturday we are here in Hampi and walk around, and on saturday evening we take the bus back to Goa. The bus drives overnight, and it will probably take 12-13 hours. Hopefully I can get some sleep there.
I saw an elephant today! It was nice, one of the things I wanted to see here. Otherwice I have nothing new to report.
Now I will go look at the shops some. See you!

Colva Beach, Goa
We have now been here for three nights and it is awesome here!!! I could probably stay here for very long. Actually that's not true. Already I have had a little bit enough of walking on the beach and drinking beer every now and then. And I have burned my back so I have to stay out of the sun. That is the main reason I would want to do something. Well, I guess I'll manage, I think I will go and change to my bikini and go hang out in the pool at our hotel.
We are going to stay here one more night, and after that we are going somewhere else. We haven't decided yet, what we will do. A trip to Hampi is possible, or maybe we will go to Paniji, which is the capital of Goa. I would also like to go to north Goa if possible. And I would still spend a couple of days in the sun, improving my tan. =). So that it will be very clear that I have been somewhere when I come back to Finland. Altough right now I feel like I could stay here... =)
Well, I have nothing more to report. There are a few things I miss, mostly choclate! Mmm... Fazers, the one with the cookies in it...
*off to the pool*

Mumbai
When we arrived in Mumbai, we took a taxi to the gateway of India. The taxi was an experience in itself. Hopefully I will be able to add some pictures later. And the traffic was horrible. Mr.T and I came to the conclusion that the traffic rules are that you drive mostly on the left side on the road, and then you honk your horn more often than not. It was a very interesting day in Mumbai. We went around to different shopping malls and bazaars. There is a lot of stuff to buy here, and before we go home I am going to spend all my money on this stuff =)
As I suspected, the Indians are looking at me a lot, as a blond, whitescinned lady. Mostly its okey, but some of the guys make me a little nervous. But I am seldom alone so I'm not worried.
We spent the first night in Mumbai and then took a early train to Goa. In the morning when we went to the train station, it was shocking to see, that people were sleeping in the streets. A lot of people. Maybe I will not complain anymore, that I have no own place...
We had the "best" train ticket class, and it had aircondition. That was nice. The train was clean, but it was not in very good shape, at least not in Finland standards. The train ride was meant to take 13 hours, but it was a little bit late, so it took about 15 hours. The distance is about 600km. I think I will never again complain that the trainride to my parents takes to long. Thankfully we were able to sleep on the train. And the service was great to, so great that me and mr.T thougt that the guys could stop serving now.
Well, we arrived in Goa, and got a taxi to a hotel. The hotel we are now staying in is very nice, it has a pool and it is very clean and in good shape. We have slept here for two nights now, and are thinking about spending another night here. But after that we are continuing our trip somewhere else.
Now I'm going to get some breakfest. I think I will have to sit in the shades because it is so hot over here. And I think I burned my face yesterday. Well, have a nice day at work people! Thinking of all of you!!!
